5. Moiré effects
Use Moiré and Changeant fabrics for upholstery projects.
Select Moiré wallpapers or ‘do it yourself’.
Check out DIY instructions also called ‘Graining’.
This effect gives walls the look of old Moiré material.
The glaze-off technique needs a special graining tool.

1. Opalescent effects
Select colors of the opalescent spectrum.
Avoid ‘sweet or candy’ shades. Good color references are ‘Mother of Pearl’ objects.

A little bit of creativity and DIY goes a long way in creating opalescent, shimmering interior moods. Authentic materials and finishes are costly but there are often much cheaper alternatives that will provide the same look. Here are some ideas to create your own CHANGEANT mega look.
