Something I’ve been seeing a lot of during the Fall 2016 Collections is the colour RED. Seems red is everywhere, on the runway and on the streets alike. Is it all about Disney’s new major movie ‘Alice through the looking glass” …? The look is definitely inspired by a girlish innocence and features over-the-top feminine and playful details with ruffles and bows.

Lux Anarchy
This mega trend flows through fashion and interiors alike and combines high fashion with grunge and a punk aesthetic that feels lux and strangly sophisticated. At it's centre are upcycled fashion pieces, altenative materials and an aesthetic that refuses to conform with the establishment. In interiors this trend displays graffiti and provocative art juxtaposed to luxe design furniture and plush fur a la Ryan Korban.

This year, tiaras are making a huge comeback with unique vintage look pieces. Tiaras will be the must-have accessory for beachy outfits or music festivals during the summer month. This jewellery trend will mature towards autumn to a more sophisticated ‘every-day’ city look. Tiaras have to be styled without being cute or preppy to be on trend. Fashionistas in-the-know using tiaras as a counter point to a heroic gothic chic or, my favourite, a grunge and nineties-style homage to Courtney Love at Saint Laurent.
