 Color trend alert: 

The top contender for one of the most exciting 

upcoming color-trends is green. More 

specifically, it’s a pale, laid-back, 

minty or bluish green. This green can be easily 

worn or decorated with unlike the more 

aggressive green tones.

This original antique Bérgere chair was 

found in a flea market in North Paris,
and brought back to London to form part of the
‘Lee Broom' collection. The piece was left unrestored
and then adorned in turquoise neon giving it new life but
without forgetting its journey.

….. American Art Deco

Art Deco Swan Chairs

I’m seriously addicted to furnitures with 
swan motives.

 I guess you can tell from my previous post here

During my daily hunt I found these American Art Deco chairs here with carved swans in silvered wood. The chairs are from a prestigious Miami Beach 1930’s Art Modern home. Looks to me, that they are straight from Gianni Versace’s Palazzo Casa Casuarina. Also I’m not a Versace fan, I do love these chairs. I would mix and match them with mid-century modern furniture like this Vladimir Kagan or Todd Merrill sofa in a deep petrol blue together with an Yves-Klein Table in electric blue.

Artist Yves Klein patented his own color International Klein Blue (IKB) blue in 1960. The next year, he designed this coffee table filled with the pigment.

To “icon-ize” this room 

I would replace the coffee table in this set up with an electrified neon blue plexiglas Ron Ferri table.
